A Solar Study Committee was created to look into all aspects of solar farms during the moratorium, their disadvantages and advantages.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">After a final review by the Stafford Town Planning Board last month, the local law was approved in a 5-0 vote after a second public hearing in June 10, 2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The law changes local zoning laws in regards to large solar farms.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The law is now referred to Genesee County for final approval.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Link to Stafford Solar Law below: https:\/\/www.townofstafford.org\/government\/town-board\/38-solar-law-meeting-may-20th.html The Town of Stafford Public Hearing and vote on Local Law # 5\/ Stafford Solar Law.
