Bart Towne, 48, of Alleghany Rd., Alabama, is now facing more charges in a battery theft investigation.
Towne was arrested and arraigned in both the Byron Town Court and the Alabama Town Court on additional grand larceny 4th charges on January 9, 2017.
Towne has been held in the Genesee County Jail since his initial arrest on September 27, 2016.
He is now facing charges in the towns of Byron, Oakfield, Alabama, Elba, Pembroke, and Alexander regarding his alleged involvement in the thefts of batteries.
Amber L. Hevron, 28, of Rice Rd., Albion, was also arrested on additional grand larceny 4th charges.
Hevron had previously been charged in the Byron Town Court on December of 2016. She is facing a grand larceny 4th charge concerning her involvement in battery thefts and had been released under the supervision of Genesee Justice.
Hevron is now charged with grand larceny 4th in the towns of Alabama, Pembroke, Oakfield and Elba.
She was issued appearance tickets on the additional charges and remains under the supervision of Genesee Justice.
The investigation remains active and future arrests are possible.
