BATAVIA/Rochester man allegedly involved in a drug deal, picked up in traffic stop

Leonard E. Aguayo, aka”LB”, 30, of Affinity Lane, Rochester, is charged with two counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance 3rd, a class B felony, unlawful possession of marijuana and aggravated unlicensed operation 2nd after being observed in what appeared to be a drug transaction in the City of Batavia.

“LB” was picked up by the Genesee County Drug Task Force in a traffic stop in the City of Batavia.

Task Force members allegedly found “LB” to be in possession of more than a half ounce of crack cocaine, which has an estimated street value of $4,000, a quantity of marijuana and a quantity of U.S. Currency.

Aguayo was also driving on a suspended driver’s license.

Further charges may be forthcoming.

Aguayo was arraigned in City Court on February 27, 2017 and jailed without bail.

Uniformed members of the City of Batavia Police Department and the Genesee County Sheriff’s Office assisted the Task Force members with the arrest.
