BATAVIA/12 BHS students competing for the title of Mr. Batavia 2017

In its 5th year, the Mr. Batavia contest is right around the corner, the show is March 31st at 7:00p.m. at the Batavia High School auditorium.

12 high school senior contestants have been preparing for the event each day after school under the direction of Lisa Robinson, BHS Student Government Advisor.

Last year the event raised about $4,000, money raised comes from ticket sales.

50 percent of the proceeds raised will go to the first place winner’s charity and 25 percent each will go to the charities of the two runner-up contestants chosen.

Tickets are $5.00 for students and $7.00 for adults.

Tickets can be purchased during lunch at school and the week of the show and at the door.

12. John Currier- Habitat for Humanity
