Carlton L. Beardsley, 22, of Walnut St., Batavia, is charged with criminal obstruction of breathing or blood circulation and menacing 2nd after a physical domestic incident on Walnut street on March 17, 2017.
Beardsley allegedly threatened a female with a knife and then choked her.
He was arraigned in City Court and jailed on $5,000 cash bail or $10,000 bond bail.
Shane K. Borton, 44, of Chase Park, Batavia, is charged with criminal contempt 1st and harassment 2nd after a physical altercation with another person in violation of an order of protection.
The incident occurred on March 18, 2017 on Chase Park.
Borton was arraigned in City Court and released under the supervision of Genesee Justice.
Oliver Thomas, 25, of Dellinger Ave., Batavia, was arrested on a City Court warrant for burglary 1st and assault 2nd charges after an incident on Central avenue on October 28, 2016.
He was also charged with failing to report a change of address as a sex offender in December of 2016.
Thomas was found in LeRoy yesterday.
He was jailed without bail and will re-appear in court on March 23, 2017.
Steven S, Perez Gangi, 21, of Bridge Rd., Elba, is charged with DWI, speeding in a zone, drinking/possessing alcohol in a motor vehicle and unlawful possession of marijuana after a traffic stop at 401 West Main street on March 18, 2017.
Gangi was issued uniform traffic tickets and an appearance ticket and will appear in City Court on March 29, 2107 at 9:00a.m.
Jamie L. Soto, 42, of Bank St., Batavia, is charged with offering a false instrument for filing 1st after allegedly filing a sex offender address change form with the police department which contained false information.
Soto was issued and appearance ticket.
Cassi A. Schutt, 29, of W. Crest Dr., Rochester, was arrested on a warrant for operating a vehicle with a suspended registration, aggravated unlicensed operation, operation of a vehicle without insurance and failure to stop at a stop sign after a traffic stop in November of 2016 on Clinton Street.
Schutt posted bail and was released and will appear in City Court on April 5, 2017 at 9:00a.m.
Eric R. McWethy, 20, of Columbia Ave., Batavia, is charged with loud muffler and unlawful possession of marijuana after a traffic stop at 404 Ellicott street on March 18, 2017.
The vehicle was pulled over after it was heard operating with an excessively loud muffler.
McWethy was also found to be in possession of an amount of marijuana.
He was issued appearance tickets and will appear in City Court on March 28, 2017 at 1:00p.m.
Keaira S. Jones, 25, of Jay St., Rochester, is charged with unlawful possession of marijuana after a vehicle she was a passenger in was stopped for a traffic infraction at 209 Washington Ave., on March 17, 2017.
Jones was found to be in possession of a quantity of alleged marijuana.
Jones was issued and appearance ticket and will appear in City Court on March 28, 2017 at 1:00p.m.
Donald J. Egan, 26, of State St., Seneca Falls, NY, was arrested on a City Court bench warrant and arraigned in the Town of Batavia Court on March 22, 2017.
Egan was jailed in lieu of $1,000 bail and will appear in City Court later today.
