On August 22, 2017, Eduardo Bautista Cruz, 23, of Warsaw, was arrested after he illegally entered an apartment in Portageville/Town of Genesee Falls and physically held an individual in the residence, refusing to let the person go.
The person eventually was able to get away and contact the Wyoming County Sheriff’s Office for help.
Bautista Cruz is charged with unlawful imprisonment 1st and burglary 2nd.
Bautista Cruz was arraigned in the Town of Genesee Falls Court and was remanded to the Wyoming County Jail in lieu of $25,000 cash or $50,000 bond. He is to appear again in court on October 25, 2017 to answer the charges.
