GENESEE COUNTY SHERIFF’S REPORT/S. Main street man accused of operating a vehicle while smoking marijuana with a child in the car

Marcos A. Torres, 35, of S. Main St., Batavia, is charged with two counts of criminal sale of a controlled substance 3rd, two counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance 3rd, both class B felonies, unlawful possession of marijuana, endangering the welfare of a child and aggravated unlicensed operation 3rd after a traffic stop on Tuesday afternoon.

Torres was operating the vehicle on a suspended driver’s license on S. Main street and during the stop he allegedly was found to be smoking marijuana inside the vehicle with a child inside.

There was also an active indictment warrant for Torres out of Genesee County Court for criminal sale and possession of a controlled substance. Torres is accused of selling crack cocaine to an agent of the Genesee County Drug Task Force on two occasions in the past 4 months in and around the City of Batavia.

He was jailed without bail and will be arraigned at a later date.

 

 

Timothy O. Lee aka “Cricket”, 37, of Erie St., LeRoy, is charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance 3rd, a class B felony, criminal possession of marijuana 4th, criminally using drug paraphernalia 2nd and endangering the welfare of a child after an investigation into the possession, transportation and sale of cocaine in and around the Village of LeRoy.

On Tuesday night, the Genesee County Local Drug Task Force executed a search warrant at a residence on Erie street in the Village of LeRoy.

Upon searching the residence, Lee was allegedly found to be in possession of a quantity of marijuana, drug paraphernalia, and a quantity of U.S. currency.

Lee was arraigned in LeRoy Town Court and jailed on $15,000 cash bail or $30,000 bond.
