LEROY POLICE REPORT/Batavia man charged with burglary and resisting arrest after violating stay away order

On December 30, 2017, police and a deputy responded to a domestic incident at a Lake street address in the Village of LeRoy.

Upon arrival, they allegedly found Nicholas G. Williams, 41, of West Main St.Rd., Batavia, inside the residence of a person he was ordered to stay away from in an order of protection.  Williams was charged with one count of criminal contempt 2nd, an A-Misdemeanor, for allegedly violating the order of protection, one count of burglary 2nd, a class C-Violent felony, for allegedly unlawfully entering or remaining inside a dwelling with the intent to commit the crime of criminal contempt therein and resisting arrest for allegedly resisting the Officers attempts to place him in handcuffs.

Williams was arraigned before the Hon.D. Sehm of the LeRoy Town Court and committed to the Genesee County Jail in lieu of $10,000 bail.

Two persons were arrested by the LeRoy Police Department following a reported domestic disturbance which occurred on Church Street in LeRoy on December 31, 2017 at about 9:30 a.m.  The arrests were unrelated to the actual domestic disturbance, but during the incident, a crack pipe was located by the officers in plain view in the living room.

The occupants, Christina M. Sanchez-Anderson, 29, and Kodey R. Mills, 24, were arrested and each charged with one count of criminal possession of a controlled substance 7th , a Class A-Misdemeanor.  Mills was issued an appearance ticket to appear in LeRoy Town Court on January 18, 2018.  Sanchez-Anderson was found to also have an outstanding warrant out of the Town of LeRoy Court and was arraigned before the Hon. M. Welsh and committed to the Genesee County Jail in lieu of $1,000 cash bail.

50 year old Lori A. Say of  Roanoke Rd., Stafford, was arrested by the LeRoy Police Department on January 1, 2018 and charged with one count of petit larceny, an A-Misdemeanor.  It is alleged that Say shoplifted multiple items of merchandise from a business on West Avenue in the Village.  Say was issued an appearance ticket and is to appear in the LeRoy Town Court on January 18, 2018.

25 year old James M. Tinker, of Fowler Rd., Linwood, was arrested by the LeRoy Police Department on January 1, 2018 at about 11:17 p.m. and charged with one count of criminal mischief  4th, an A-Misdemeanor.  It is alleged that during a dispute at a Church Street address in the Village, Tinker punched a window with the intent of breaking such and did in fact break the window of another person.  Tinker was treated for cuts on his hand and was issued an appearance ticket to appear in LeRoy Court on January,18, 2018 at 1:00 p.m.

25 year old Chazmar T. Walters, of Myrtle street, was arrested on January 2, 2018 by the LeRoy Police Department on an outstanding bench warrant for failure to appear in court.  Walters was processed and arraigned before the Hon. John Duyssen of the LeRoy Town Court and released on his own recognizance to appear at a later date.
