GENESEE COUNTY/Akron man wanted on an indictment warrant picked up during traffic stop

Jeremy R. Leising, 21, of Roll Rd., Akron, was picked up on a Grand Jury indictment warrant during a traffic stop in Erie County on January 21, 2017.  He was a passenger in the vehicle.

Leising is charged with 2 counts of criminal sale of a controlled substance 3rd and 2 counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance 3rd, both class B felonies.

He allegedly sold a quantity of fentanyl on one occasion and heroin on another separate occasion to an operative of the Genesee County drug Task Force while in the Town of Alabama.

Leising was turned over to the Genesee County Sheriff’s Office and was then jailed .

The Genesee County District Attorney’s Office and Uniform members of the Genesee County Sheriff’s Office and Erie County Sheriff’s Office assisted Task Force members with the investigation.
