ORLEANS COUNTY SHERIFF’S REPORT/Rochester man charged after accident in Shelby

On January 22, 2017, at 3:31 a.m., The Orleans County Sheriff’s Office arrested a Rochester man following a motor vehicle accident in the Town of Shelby.

Arnold E. Earle, 47, of Long Pond Road, was traveling south on South Gravel Road when his vehicle left the roadway, striking a tree, continued south striking a parked vehicle forcing that vehicle into a house. Earle was transported to Erie County Medical Center by Medina Ambulance.

On January 29, 2017, Earle was charged with DWI(felony), Speed not reasonable and prudent, moving from a lane unsafely and failure to keep right.

Also Earle will appear before a NYSDMV Administrative Law Judge at a later date for refusal to submit to a chemical test.

Earle was arraigned in Town of Ridgeway Court with bail being set at $500. He is scheduled to appear in the Town of Shelby Court on February 2,  2017 at 6:00pm.
