BATAVIA POLICE REPORT/Wood street man jailed after domestic incident

Thomas A. Carson, 40, of Wood St., Batavia, is charged with coercion 1st, criminal mischief 4th and criminal obstruction of breathing following a domestic incident on Wood street on February 2, 2017.

Carson was arraigned in City Court and jailed on $10,000 cash or bond bail and will re-appear in court on February 6, 2017.

 

 

Morgan L. Cox Sr., 48, of Dellinger Ave., Batavia,  is charged with menacing 3rd and criminal obstruction of breathing or blood circulation after an investigation into a domestic incident on Dellinger avenue on January 30, 2017.

Cox Sr. was arraigned in City Court and jailed in lieu of bail.

 

 

Shuvan J. Williams, 41, of Hutchins St., Batavia, and Daniel M. Carter, no age or address provided, were arrested on City Court warrants for harassment 2nd.

Both were issued appearance tickets and released.

They will will re-appear in City Court on February 7, 2017.

 

Brian J. Hawkins, 37, of Pries Ave., Buffalo,  is charged with prohibited sale of an alcoholic beverage after serving alcohol to a person under 21 at 200 Oak street on January 31, 2017.

Hawkins was issued an appearance ticket and will appear in City Court on February 7, 2017 at 1:00p.m.

 

Jaylyn S. Strong, 21, of Holland Ave., Batavia, turned himself in on an outstanding Batavia City Court warrant after failing to appear on a scheduled court date on December 1, 2016.

Strong posted police bail and was released on an appearance ticket.

 

Ian C. Lawlis, 36, of Central Ave., Batavia, was arrested on an outstanding City Court bench warrant out of Batavia.

Lawlis was issued an appearance ticket and released.

He will appear in City Court on February 7, 2017.
