On March 6, 2017 at 1:58 pm, Troopers responded to Rt. 77 near Judge road, for a one vehicle rollover.
A 2003 Dodge Caravan traveling north on Rt. 77 left the roadway on the east shoulder and struck a tree and then rolled over in the Town of Alabama.
There were four adult occupants inside the van.
The 40 year old driver of the mini van suffered a medical issue and a back seat passenger, Karen Mann, 56 of Batavia, NY was pronounced dead at the scene.
One person was transported to Strong Hospital by Mercy Flight and two others were also transported to Strong by ground ambulance.
The operator and the two other passengers in the car suffered minor injuries.
The investigation is ongoing.
