WYOMING COUNTY SHERIFF’S REPORT/Gainesville man violates order of protection from jail

Ervin W. Delude Sr., 45, of Gainesville was arrested following an investigation into a violation of an order of protection on May 1, 2017.

Delude was incarcerated in the Wyoming County Jail when he was found to be making phone calls to a female outside of the jail who had an active order of protection against him.

Delude also had previous domestic violence criminal convictions in the past five years which elevated the level of this offense to felonies.

He is charged with criminal contempt 1st and aggravated family offense.  Delude was arraigned in the Village of Warsaw Court where he was remanded to the Wyoming County Jail without bail.

He will return to the Village of Warsaw Court on May 22, 2017 for further proceedings.

 

Vahagurupal S. Pummay, 28, of Bakersfield, CA., was arrested following a traffic stop on State Route 20A in the Town of Perry on April 30, 2017.

Pummay was stopped for driving his tractor trailer westbound onto Route 20A west of State Route 246 which is prohibited.

Tractor Trailer drivers are required to maintain a current log book which documents their daily activity.  Pummay was found to have a log book without any documentation for the previous two days.

Pummay was arrested and charged with Log Book Violation (misdemeanor), Expired Tax Permit, Over length Vehicle – Combination, and Disobeyed Traffic Control Device.

Pummay was escorted to a nearby turn around area where he was taken out of service for a total of ten hours.

Pummay is scheduled to answer the charges in the Town of Perry Court on May 24, 2017
