Five fire companies responded to a vacant house fire Wednesday afternoon in the Village of Castile.
The call came in about 4:01p.m. of a reported structure fire at 116 S. Main street. When fire crews arrived on scene smoke was showing.
Castile Fire along with Silver Springs, Perry, Perry Center and Pike responded to the 2 alarm blaze at the vacant home that was undergoing renovations at the time of fire.
The home is owned by Justin Sacco and Amber Baker.
No one was injured.
Estimated loss is $15,000 and the cause of the fire remains under investigation.
