WYOMING COUNTY SHERIFF’S REPORT/Gainesville woman charged after domestic incident

The Wyoming County Sheriff’s Office responded to a domestic incident on Cotton Road in the Town of Gainesville on May 19, 2017.

Deputy Previty arrived on location and spoke to a male caller who stated that Jordan M. Nichols was driving while intoxicated and attempted to leave with a child.

She did not leave with the child, but did drive intoxicated to the residence

Further investigation revealed that Nichols attempted to stop a telephone call for help by the victim and also damaged the victim’s telephone.

She was arrested for D.W.I.  and transported to the Wyoming County Sheriff’s Office and issued tickets for DWI, driving with a BAC of .08% or more and criminal mischief 4th

Nichols was transported to Town of Gainesville Court for arraignment and was released on recognizance and she is to appear in the Town of Gainesville Court at a later date.

 

Corey B. Rieser, 29, of Darien Center, was arrested following a traffic stop on Route 20A in the Town of Sheldon on May 21, 2017.

Rieser was stopped for traffic infractions when his licensed was found to be suspended for failure to answer a summons in the Town of Sheldon.

He is charged with aggravated unlicensed operation 3rd, insecure rear plate, and visibility distorted by broken glass.

Rieser was arraigned in the Town of Sheldon Court where bail was set in the amount of $500.00 cash or $2,500.00 bond.

Rieser was held in the Wyoming County Jail, and is scheduled to return to the Town of Sheldon Court on June 5, 2017 for further proceedings.
