BATAVIA POLICE REPORT/68 year old man accused of knocking down motorcycle causing damage

Nicholas A. Cianciosi, 68, of East Main St., Batavia, is charged with criminal mischief 2nd, property damage greater than $1,500, after intentionally knocking over a 2003 Harley-Davidson motorcycle that was parked in the 400 Towers parking lot on East Main street on May 23, 2017.

The incident caused $5,014.78 in damages to the motorcycle.

Cianciosi was arraigned in City Court and released under the supervision of Genesee Justice.

He will return to court on June 21, 2017.

 

Michael T. Coffey, 48, of S. Main St., Albion, is charged with burglary 3rd/illegal entry with intent to commit a crime, criminal mischief, intentionally damaging property, and petit larceny, after police were called to 529 East Main street for a burglary in progress.

While officers were in route, the suspect was located in the area and detained.

After further investigation, Coffey was charged.

He is accused of breaking a window and stealing property from inside the building.

Coffey was arraigned in City Court and will appear again at a later date.

 

Bennie Wright, 32, of Jay St., Rochester, is charged with grand larceny 4th, a felony, and unlawful possession of marijuana after he allegedly stole an amount to money from another person by taking it out of their hand on June 3, 2017.

Wright was also allegedly found to be in possession of an amount of marijuana concealed on his person during the arrest on central avenue.

Wright was arraigned in City Court and jailed in lieu of no bail. He appeared in City Court again on June 6, 2017.

 

 

Karissa K. Sardina, 34, of Needham St., Perry, is charged with endangering the welfare of a child and unattended motor vehicle after she left her vehicle running and unattended at 100 Bank street.

Sardina is also accused of leaving her 3 year old daughter inside the car after she went inside the bank to conduct personal banking business.

She appeared in City Court on June 6, 2017 to answer the charges.

 

 

Patrick J. Dickinson, 48, of E. Henrietta Rd., Henrietta, NY, is charged with harassment 2nd and unlawful possession of marijuana after an investigation into a road rage incident where he is accused of chasing down the occupants of another vehicle and shoving one of the occupants at 44 Main street on June 3, 2017.

At the time Dickinson was arrested, marijuana was located inside his vehicle.

He was released on an appearance ticket and appeared in City Court on June 6, 2017.

 

David P. Grossman Sr., 34, of W. Main St. Rd., Batavia, is charged with obstructing governmental administration 2nd and unlawful possession of marijuana after a disturbance where Grossman allegedly resisted officers as they attempted to take him into custody on March 1, 2017 on State street.

After he was taken into custody, he was found to be in possession of an amount of marijuana.

Grossman was issued an appearance ticket and appeared in City Court on June 6, 2017.

 

Aisha I. Culver, 18, of Willow St., Batavia, is charged with harassment 2nd/physical contact, and endangering the welfare of a child less than 17, after a disturbance incident on May 20, 2017 at 18 Maple street.

Culver was released with an appearance ticket and appeared in City Court on on May 30, 2017.

 

 

Marshall R. Steffans, 38, of Condon Ave., Buffalo, is charged with two counts of endangering the welfare of a child less than 17, criminal mischief and attempted assault 3rd/with intent to cause physical injury, after a domestic incident at a residence on Liberty street on April 18, 2017.

An arrest warrant was issued and Steffans was arrested on the warrant June 2, 2017 and arraigned in City Court.

 

Morgan L. Cox Jr., 26, of Xavier St., Clarence, is charged with DWI, unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and refusal to take a breath test following  an investigation into a fight in the street on Trumbull Parkway on June 3, 2017.

Witnesses identified Cox Jr. as being involved in the fight and driving away from the scene. He was located in the area and then arrested.

Cox Jr., is being held on $1,000 bail.

 

Patrick D. Moore, 39, of Strouts Rd., Elba, was arrested on a warrant out of City Court for a criminal mischief 3rd charge after a disturbance on Holland avenue on March 1, 2017.

After an investigation, charges were drawn against Moore and a warrant was issued for his arrest.

Moore was arraigned in City Court and he appeared on June 5, 2017.

 

Travis M. Klotzbach, 26, of Elm St., Batavia, is charged with DWI, driving with a BAC of .18% or more, drinking alcohol in a motor vehicle and moving from a lane unsafely after an erratic driving complaint on Pearl street on June 3, 2017.

Following an investigation, Klotzback was found to be allegedly operating his 1997 blue Ford Expedition in an intoxicated state and with a BAC of .23%.

He was issued uniform traffic tickets and released and will appear in City Court on June 14, 2017 at 9:00a.m.

 

Brandon J. March, 32, of S. Main St., Batavia, is charged with grand larceny 4th and disabling equipment/preventing communications with emergency services, after a domestic incident where March is accused of taking a cell phone belonging to another person while that person was attempting to call 9-1-1.

The incident occurred on Cone street on June 2, 2017.

March is being held without bail and was scheduled to appear in City Court on June 5, 2017.

 

Dora L. Poodry, 23, of East Main St., Batavia, is charged with petit larceny after allegedly stealing multiple items from a convenient store at 412 East Main street on May 28, 2017.

Poodry was issued an appearance ticket and appeared in City Court on June 6, 2017.

 

Nichol L. Schutt, 29, of Westcrest Dr., Gates, NY, was arrested on a City Court warrant for harassment 2nd on June 3, 2017 after Gates Police detained her during a traffic stop.

Schutt posted $500 police bail and was released. She is scheduled to appear in City Court on June 14, 2017 at 9:00a.m.

 

Christopher M. Grant, 28, of Schaefer Dr., West Seneca, was arrested on a bench warrant issued by City Court after Grant failed to appear on a misdemeanor traffic ticket from March 27, 2017.

Grant posted $250 police bail and was released.

Grant is scheduled to to appear in court on June 20, 2017.

 

Thomas A. Carson, 41, of Wood St., Batavia, was arrested on a City Court bench warrant and arraigned in City Court and remanded to the Genesee County Jail.
