GENESEE COUNTY SHERIFF’S REPORT/Spencerport man charged for passing harassing note to an employee at Batavia Downs

William A. Gruschow II, 37, of Union St., Spencerport, is charged with harassment 2nd after allegedly passing a harassing note to an employee at Batavia Downs, the employee became alarmed.

The incident occurred on June 10, 2017.

Gruschow II was released on an appearance ticket and will appear in Batavia Town Court on July 10, 2017 at 1:00p.m.

 

 

Charles E. Schmidt, 46, of Alexander Rd., Batavia, is charged with harassment 2nd after allegedly striking another person at the Genesee County Fairgrounds on June 10, 2017.

Schmidt was released on an appearance ticket and will appear in the Batavia Town Court on June 19, 2017.

 

 

AR-Rahmaan M. Jones, 36, of East Ave., LeRoy is charged with two countsĀ  of criminal possession of a controlled substance 7th and one count of unlawful possession of marijuana after a traffic stop in the City of Batavia on June 9, 2017.

Jones was stopped on Ellicott avenue and arrested by the Genesee County Drug Task Force after Jones was allegedly found in possession of cocaine, a quantity of pills and marijuana.

Jones also had an active arrest warrant issued out of City Court.

He was arraigned in Batavia City Court and jailed in lieu of $1,000 cash bail.

Uniformed officers from the Batavia Police Department assisted with the investigation.
