GENESEE COUNTY SHERIFF’S REPORT/Marion man jailed after traffic stop in Bergen

Douglas J. Tallent, 36, of Walworth-Marion Rd., Marion, is charged with felony DWI, previous conviction within 10 years, felony driving with a BAC of .08% or more, prior conviction, felony aggravated unlicensed operation 1st while under the influence, operating a motor vehicle while registration suspended due to no insurance and consumption of alcohol in a motor vehicle after a traffic stop on Rt. 33 in Bergen on June 24, 2017.

Tallent was arraigned in Bergen Town Court and jailed without bail.

He will re-appear in court on July 12, 2017 at 5:00p.m.

 

 

Michael R. Ostrander, 52, of Middle Rd., Collins, NY, is charged with possession of dangerous contraband in prison 1st and criminal possession of a controlled substance after allegedly possessing an un-prescribed controlled substance while an inmate at the Genesee County Jail on December 13, 2016.

Ostrander appeared in City Court on June 27, 2017 to answer the charges.

 

 

Cathleen A. Bishop, 51, of W. Main St., Batavia, is charged with petit larceny after a larceny complaint at Kohl’s Department store on June 30, 2017.

Bishop allegedly walked past the points of sale without paying for $145.99 worth of merchandise.

She was released on an appearance ticket and will appear in the Town of Batavia Court on July 6, 2017 at 1:00p.m. to answer the charge.
