BATAVIA POLICE REPORT/Pearl street man jailed after Central avenue altercation

Danny D. Williams Sr., 28, of Pearl St., Batavia, is charged with criminal possession of a weapon 3rd, menacing 2nd and endangering the welfare of a child less than 17 after an altercation at 27 Central avenue on June 9, 2017.

Williams Sr. allegedly pulled a knife on a person during the incident.

It is also alleged that there was a child within close proximity to the altercation.

Williams Sr. was arraigned in City Court on July 6, 2017 and jailed in lieu of $15,000 cash and $30,000 bond.

 

Salvatore M. Schwable, 19, homeless, of Batavia, is charged with grand larceny 4th and two counts of petit larceny after an incident at McDonalds at 573 East Main street.

Schwable allegedly took property from three different people without their permission.

Schwable was arraigned in City Court and jailed without bail.

He was also arrested on a bench warrant out of City Court for failure to appear for a scheduled court appearance on June 1, 2017.

Schwable was jailed on the warrant with bail set at $2,500 cash or bond bail.

 

Joseph K. Schlossel, 56, of Linwood Ave., Batavia, is charged with moving from a lane unsafely, backing unsafely, drinking alcohol in a motor vehicle and DWI after a one car accident on Clifton avenue on March 11, 2017.

Schlossel was issued traffic tickets and released.

He will appear in City Court on July 12, 2017 at 9:00 a.m.

 

Dustin L. Landin, 38, of Sierk Rd., Attica, is charged with grand larceny 4th after allegedly stealing money/property from a local business at 563 East Main street on June 28, 2017.

Landin was issued an appearance ticket and will appear in City Court on July 11, 2017.
