BATAVIA POLICE REPORT/Seppes accused of burglary in Columbia avenue incident

Greg and Brandon Seppe, 33, of S. Swan St., Batavia, are each charged with petit larceny, burglary 2nd and conspiracy 4th after they were located leaving the area of 38 Columbia Avenue after a reported burglary on July 13, 2017.

Both were arraigned in City Court and both were held without bail.

They appeared in City Court on July 14, 2017 at 1:00p.m.

 

 

Melvin C. Tolbert-McDonald, 21, of Seward St., Rochester, is charged with assault 3rd and criminal obstruction of breathing following an investigation into a domestic incident on Pearl street on July 15, 2017.

Tolbert-McDonald allegedly struck another person multiple times and choked the person.

He was arraigned in City Court and released on his own recognizance.

Tolbert-McDonald appeared in City Court today.

 

 

Sheryl A. Jeffery, 58, of Summit St., Batavia, is charged with harassment 2nd/physical contact after allegedly striking a healthcare provider(registered nurse) in the face and shoulders while being attended to at UMMC on July 13, 2017.

Jeffery was issued an appearance ticket and will appear in City Court on July 18, 2017.

 

Bonnie L. Cortright, 30, of Clinton St. Rd., Batavia,  Sabrina Higgins, 22, and Thomas Preedom, 29, were located by police in a vacant home at 122 Summit street on July 14, 2017 at 11:23p.m.

All three are charged with criminal trespass 2nd.

Cortright and Higgins were released on appearance tickets and will appear in City Court on July 25, 2017 at 1:00p.m.

Preedom, who is on parole, was arraigned in City Court and jailed on $2,500 cash or bond bail.

He appeared in City Court today.

 

 

Dalton C. Kelley, 19, of Chase Park, Batavia, is charged with criminal mischief 4th and harassment 2nd after allegedly damaging garage windows and then pushed and threatened other people in the residence on Chase Park on July 15, 2017.

He was issued appearance tickets and will appear in City Court tomorrow at 1:00p.m.

On July 16, 2017, Kelley allegedly struck another person at the same residence on Chase Park and is charged with harassment 2nd in that incident.

He was arraigned in City Court and released on his own recognizance.

 

 

Jay’von D. Spivey, 18, of Holland Ave., Batavia is charged with criminal possession of stolen property 5th and resisting arrest following an investigation into a complaint of a larceny of a bicycle on Holland avenue on July 11, 2017.

Spivey pulled away and resisted arrest when officers were attempting to take him into custody.

He was later arraigned in the Town of Batavia Court and jailed in lieu of $1,000 cash or $2,000 bond bail.

Spivey appeared in City Court on July 14, 2017.

 

 

Casey J. Halsey, 37, of S. Swan St., Batavia, is charged with criminal trespass 2nd and criminal mischief 4th after a disturbance at 36 Redfield Parkway on July 15, 2017 at 4:34a.m.

Halsey allegedly refused to leave the residence at the homeowner’s demand and then damaged a window.

Halsey was arraigned in City Court and jailed on $7,500 cash or bond bail.

Halsey appeared in court today.

 

Olivia J. Paganin, 28, of Myrtle St., LeRoy, is charged with DWI, driving with a BAC of .08% or more and motor vehicle lights do not meet standard after she was allegedly operating a motor vehicle in an intoxicated condition.

Paganin was released on appearance tickets and will appear in City Court on July 26, 2017 at 9:00a.m.

 

Matthew D. Novak, 28, of Dellinger Ave., Batavia, was arrested on a arrest warrant for an incident on Central avenue on April 12, 2017. Novak is charged with criminal contempt 1st, criminal mischief 3rd and harassment 2nd.

He is being held on $2,500 bail and appeared in City Court today.

 

 

Darazian W. Williams, 24, of W. Main St. Rd., Batavia, is charged with unlawful possession of marijuana after a traffic stop on Law street on July 9, 2017.

Williams was issued an appearance ticket and will appear in City Court on July 25, 2017 at 1:00p.m.

 

 

Willie F. Irvin II, 35, of Trumbull Parkway, Batavia, is charged with DWI, speeding in a zone and tailgating after a traffic stop at 555 E. Main street on July 16, 2017.

After an investigation, it was revealed that Irvin was allegedly operating a 2007 GMC Envoy in an intoxicated state and was arrested.

He was arraigned in Batavia Town Court and released on recognizance and will appear in City Court tomorrow at 1:30p.m.
