GENESEE COUNTY SHERIFF’S REPORT/Batavia man wanted on a bench warrant found with cocaine and a handgun during traffic stop

A Batavia man wanted on an active bench warrant was arrested while driving a vehicle on Ellicott street in the City of Batavia on July 19, 2017.

At the time of his arrest, the Genesee County Drug Task Force allegedly found Charles G. T. Williams aka “Gusto”, 38, of Jackson St., Batavia, to be in possession of a handgun and a quantity of powder cocaine and crack cocaine.

Williams was also arrested in April of this year for criminal sale of a controlled substance 3rd and criminal possession of a controlled substance 3rd for allegedly possessing and selling cocaine.

Williams was jailed on the Superior Court warrant and was arraigned today.

 

 

Michelle Richmond, 48, of Washington Ave., Batavia, is charged with felony DWI, previous conviction within 10 years, driving with a BAC of .08% or more, aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle 3rd, driving with an open container and unauthorized tint of 44% after a traffic stop on Central avenue on July 19, 2017.

Richmond was issued an appearance ticket and will appear in City Court on September 6, 2017 to answer the charge.
