BATAVIA POLICE REPORT/Walnut street man found after fleeing from scene of domestic incident

Billy Brown Sr., 34 of Walnut St., Batavia, is charged with harassment 2nd, criminal contempt 1st, criminal mischief 4th, criminal contempt 2nd and coercion 2nd after a domestic incident on Walnut street on August 14, 2017.

Brown Sr., fled the scene prior to police arrival.

The Genesee County Sheriff’s Office K-9 Destro responded to the scene and assisted with a search of the area.

Brown Sr. was eventually located and taken into custody without incident.

He was arraigned in City Court and jailed without bail.

The NYS Police also assisted in the investigation.

 

Ernest D. Lane, 59, of Ellicott St., Batavia, is charged with strangulation 2nd and aggravated family offense following a domestic incident on Ellicott street on August 18, 2017.

Lane was arraigned in City Court and held without bail.

He will appear in court later today.

 

Keyanna L. Gibson, 19, of Watson St., Batavia, is charged with harassment 2nd and endangering the welfare of a child following a disturbance on Maple street on May 20, 2017.

Gibson is accused of scratching another person during an altercation, that person was under the age of 17.

 

Brian K. Dyer, 50, of North St., Batavia, is charged with menacing 3rd and harassment 2nd after a report of physical landlord/tenant issue on North street on August 14, 2017.

Dyer allegedly menaced the tenant with a wood dowel and attempted to strike the tenant with the dowel.

Dyer was issued an appearance ticket and will appear in City Court on August 22, 2017.

 

Lee A. Baxter, 33, of W. Main St. Rd., Batavia, is charged with criminal contempt 2nd after allegedly sending text messages to a person he was barred from communicating with by a court order.

Baxter is currently being held in the Genesee County Jail on $1,000 bail and will appear in City Court later today.

 

Barbara E. Ferrando, 45, of Summit St., Batavia, is charged with unlawful possession of marijuana and criminally using drug paraphernalia after an incident on Summit street on August 13, 2017.

Ferrando was issued an appearance ticket and will appear in City Court on August 22, 2017.

 

Kodey R. Mills, 24, of Myrtle St., LeRoy, is charged with criminal mischief 4th after allegedly damaging a sign on the side of the road in front of Billy Goats at 345 West Main street on August 13, 2017.

Mills was issued an appearance ticket and will appear in City Court on August 22, 2017.

 

Katelyn C. Kubala, 28, of Meadow Ln., Attica, turned herself in to Batavia Police on an active arrest warrant from May of 2016.

Kubala allegedly did not appear for a scheduled court appearance and an arrest warrant was issued.

Kubal posted bail and was issued an appearance ticket and will appear in City Court on August 22, 2017.

 

Travis A. Weatherbee, 30, of W. Main St., Batavia, turned himself in on a City Court bench warrant for failure to appear on an aggravated unlicensed operation 3rd charge from April of 2017.

Weatherbee was released on his own recognizance and will appear in City Court on September 13, 2017.

 

 

Terry L. Lamere, 52, of Buffalo Rd., Bergen, turned himself in on a City Court bench warrant for failing to appear on an aggravated unlicensed operation 3rd charge from August 3, 2017.

Lamere was released on his own recognizance and will appear in City Court on September 7, 2017 at 9:30a.m.

 

Maurillo Osario-Carreno, 33, of S. Main St., Batavia, turned himself in on a City Court bench warrant after he failed to appear on an aggravated DWI charge and various other traffic infractions from March of 2017.

He was released on his own recognizance and will appear in City Court on September 19, 2017.

 

Steffon G. Phillip, 31, of Lyell Ave., Rochester, was arrested on a City court bench warrant after he failed to appear in court for sentencing on an unauthorized use of a motor vehicle 3rd conviction on November 17, 2016.

Philip was arraigned and is being held in the Genesee County Jail on $5,000 bail until his next court date.

 

 

Grayson J. Finnin, 21, of Old Buffalo Rd., Warsaw, was arrested on a warrant out of City Court for failing to appear on a served appearance ticket from an incident that occurred at 127 North street, UMMC, on January 31, 2017.

Finnin was arraigned in City Court.

 

Christopher P. Sullivan, 37, of S. Main St., Batavia, was arrested on a bench warrant out of City Court for allegedly failing to appear in court on a DWAI arrest.

Sullivan was released on his own recognizance and appeared in City Court on August 15, 2017.

 

 

Dashawn A. Suber, 24, of E. Main St., Batavia, was arrested on a bench warrant issued by City Court for failing to appear on a scheduled court appearance on August 2, 2017.

Suber was released on recognizance and appeared in City Court on August 16, 2017.
