Quiet Times Golf Course on Stedman road in Attica was a busy place today even though it was closed for business.
After a wind burst came through the area about 11:00p.m Monday, Quiet Times lost about 30 trees and the course was a mess.
Owner Sonya Meisner says she lives right next to the course and slept right though the weather event that ripped out trees at their roots and spread limbs around the front nine which will keep it closed for at least two days.
Friends, golfers, and other golf courses volunteered their time to help Quiet Times clean up the trees, scattered limbs and rake up the leaves.
The back nine was opened for league play by 3:30 this afternoon.
Meisner says Quiet Times has experienced storm damage in the past, but not to this extent.
