BATAVIA POLICE REPORT/Teen leads police on bicycle chase

A 17 year old was arrested and charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance 7th, obstructing governmental administration, failure to yield the right of way to an emergency vehicle and no lights on a bicycle after an attempted traffic stop by police at 341 Ellicott street on October 19, 2017 at 8:36p.m.

The 17 year old male fled from police on his bicycle and led police on a chase before being apprehended on East Main street near Harvester avenue.

He was arraigned in City Court and jailed. He appeared in City Court the following day.

 

Adante L. Davis, 27, of S. Main St., Batavia, was arrested and arraigned in City Court on October 19, 2017 on an outstanding warrant for an incident that occurred in October of last year where Davis allegedly committed assault 2nd degree and burglary 1st degree in an incident at 27 Central avenue.

Davis was released on recognizance on the City of Batavia warrant and held on a Genesee County Supreme Court warrant. He will re-appear in City of Batavia Court on November 16, 2017, he appeared in County Court this morning.

 

Katty  L. Jackson, 21, of Dewey Ave., Batavia, is charged with harassment 2nd after an incident on Maple street where Jackson allegedly struck another person.

Jackson was issued an appearance ticket and will appear in City Court on October 24, 2017.

 

Michele L. DiFalco, 28, of S. Main St., Batavia, is charged with petit larceny after she allegedly stole property from an unknown associate on September 25, 2017 on S. Main street.

DiFalco was held on bail and is due back in court on November 9, 2017.

 

 

Alex S. Dumbleton, 24, of Ellicott St., Batavia, is charged with illegal disposal of items after he threw a bag full of garbage onto the property of another without having permission  to do so, which violated a Batavia Municipal Code.

The incident occurred on October 17, 2017.

Dumbleton was issued an appearance ticket and will appear in City Court tomorrow at 1:00p.m.

 

Daniel J. DiFrancesco, 36, of Edgewood Dr., Batavia, is charged with criminal mischief 3rd following a domestic dispute on Edgewood drive on October 18, 2017.

DiFrancesco was arraigned in City Court and held without bail. He appeared in City Court on October 19, 2017.

 

Darrell J. Holloway, 49, of Farnsworth Ave., Oakfield, is charged with unlawful possession of marijuana after a traffic stop on Evans street in Batavia on October 19, 2017.

Holloway was issued an appearance ticket and released. He will appear in City Court tomorrow.

  1. Please remove my deceased son’s name from this posting. This was a private mental health issue that’s was sensationalized and provides misinformation. This was not a felony and actions taken that day by BPD were unwarranted and destroyed our family not to mention contributed to his death.
