GENESEE COUNTY/ Police are investigating three more gas station break-ins

Since the middle of October, gas stations in the area have been burglarized and damaged in many overnight break-ins.

The Genesee County Sheriff’s Office and State Police have been investigating the break-ins which have occurred in Genesee, Wyoming, Livingston and Erie Counties.

Early this morning, Crosby’s at 47 Alleghany road in Corfu, Kwik Fill, at 7010 West Main road in LeRoy and the Alexander Country Deli at 10598 Main street in Alexander were all hit after windows or doors were smashed in to gain entry.

According to the Sheriff’s Office, cigarettes and cash registers are the items being stolen in the smash and grab incidents.

There was also a similar incident in Caledonia as well.

The Sheriff’s Office believes all three incidents overnight are related and are investigating.

The Triple C Food Mart and gas station on Rt.20 in Darien experienced several break- ins the week of October 9th. Two hooded suspects in dark clothing were observed inside the store taking cigarettes.

On October 22, 2017, two gas stations in Pavilion, one at Texaco Town and one at Rt. 63 and 19, were hit along with one in Warsaw that is being investigated by the State Police.The suspect vehicle in these cases was an older style 4 door Buick.

Police believe they are also related.

Several gas stations in Erie County also fell victim to break-ins on October 22, 2017. Three different suspect vehicles were described in those incident.Ā  A yellow Lancer, a dark colored pick up and a dark colored Buick.
