STATE POLICE/Inmate charged after throwing feces at correction officer and another inmate

 On November 8, 2017, the New York State Police, Warsaw, arrested NYSDOCCS Inmate Luis Guzman, 28, currently housed at Auburn Correctional Facility in Auburn, NY, for aggravated harassment of an employee at Attica Correctional.

Guzman was arrested for an incident occurring April 17, 2017 at the Attica Correctional Facility in Attica, NY. He is charged with aggravated harassment, a class E felony and harassment 2nd, a violation.

At the time,  Guzman was being housed in the special housing unit and he threw feces out of his cell striking a passing correctional officer and an inmate being escorted by that officer.

Guzman was arraigned in Wyoming County Court by Judge Michael Mohun and was returned to the custody and control of NYSDOCCS.

Guzman will return to court at a later date.

He is serving a sentence for manslaughter 1st out of New York County.
