WYOMING COUNTY SHERIFF’S REPORT/Tractor trailer was traveling too fast in Sheldon accident

The Wyoming County Sheriff’s Office responded to a one vehicle rollover motor vehicle accident involving a tractor trailer at the intersection of Route 20A and Humphrey Road in the Town of Sheldon on November 7, 2017.

Deputies arrived on location along with the Varysburg Fire Department. The operator, and sole occupant, Robert Snyder, 38, of McConnelsville, Ohio, was transported to WCCH by Varysburg ambulance with minor injuries. Snyder was released later in the day.

The investigation showed that Snyder was traveling too fast and left the roadway at the curve.  The tractor trailer then rolled onto its side and came to a rest on the shoulder of the roadway.

Maher’s Towing responded to upright and remove the tractor trailer.  Also assisting at the scene was Sheldon Fire Department and the NYS Police.

 

 

The Wyoming County Sheriff’s Office arrested David L. Allison, 60, of Warsaw, NY, for DWI after a traffic stop in the Town of Arcade on November 3, 2017.  Deputy A. J. Previty stopped Allison for failing to keep right.

He was transported to the Arcade Police Department for a breath test.

Allison was  issued the following uniform traffic tickets, failed to keep right, unlicensed operator, aggravated unlicensed operation 3rd, DWI, driving with a BAC of .08% or more, aggravated DWI, and driving with  BAC of .18% or more.

 

Allison was released to a third party and is to appear in the Town of Arcade Court at a later date.
