NYS POLICE REPORT/Woman arrested after attempting to bring drugs and pot into the Attica Correctional Facility with child in tow

On January 11, 2018, the New York State Police, Warsaw and NYSDOCCS K-9 Officers arrested Danielle Alexis Greene, 25, of Grafton Street, Rochester, NY, for smuggling controlled substances and marihuana into the Attica Correctional Facility, Attica, NY at an attempted inmate visit while accompanied by her nine month old daughter.

Greene was arrested for Promoting Prison Contraband 1st (Class D Felony), Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th, Promoting Prison Contraband 2nd, and Endangering the Welfare of a Child (All Class A Misdemeanors) and Criminal Possession of Marihuana 5th (Class B Misdemeanor).

 

Greene was found to possess Oxycodone and Percocet secreted on her person in her clothing and eleven (11) latex glove finger-tips containing marihuana secreted within her person while attempting to enter the facility to visit an inmate secured within.

 

The nine month old child was turned over to responsible immediate family members with the assistance of both Wyoming County and Monroe County Child Protection Services.

 

Greene was arrested and processed without incident, then arraigned in the Town of Warsaw Court by Justice Ronald Errington, who remanded her to Wyoming County Jail in lieu of $2,500.00 bail or $5,000.00 bond.

 

She will return to the Town of Attica Court on a later date.

 

Greene was currently supervised by Monroe County Probation for her September 15, 2016 conviction in Monroe County Court for Attempted Hindering Prosecution 2nd (Class A Misdemeanor) and will face a future probation violation hearing in Monroe County.

 

 

 

On January 12, 2018, Troopers stopped Samuel M. Martin, no age or address provided, on Route 19 in the Town of Warsaw for an inadequate headlight. 

Upon interviewing Martin, Troopers detected a strong odor of burnt marihuana coming from the driver compartment. 

Martin was placed under arrest after failing multiple Standard Field Sobriety Tests and was also found to be in possession of marihuana.  He was transported to State Police/ Warsaw for a Drug Recognition Evaluation and processing. 

Martin was issued an appearance ticket and traffic tickets returnable to Warsaw Town Court in March 2018.
