LEROY POLICE REPORT/Scottsville woman accused of driving drunk with three children in her vehicle

A complaint from a concerned citizen of an erratic driver on March 4, 2018, led to a felony aggravated driving while intoxicated charge with a child (Leandra’s Law) and three counts of misdemeanor endangering the welfare of a child for 32 year old Amy M. Page of North Rd., Scottsville.

The caller, who was following the vehicle that Page was driving, reported that Page’s vehicle almost hit two vehicles on Route 5 near Stafford and was driving in the wrong lane and went off the road numerous times.

Page’s vehicle was located by the LeRoy Police Department after it turned into the parking lot of a business on West Main Street in the Village and allegedly drove into a snowbank.

During the course of the investigation, it was alleged that Page was intoxicated with a BAC above .18% and was driving with three children in the vehicle.

Page was arraigned in the Town of LeRoy Court and committed to the Genesee County Jail on $2,500 bail and a full stay away order of protection was issued for Page to stay away from the children in the vehicle.

 

The LeRoy Police Department arrested 58 year old Jeffrey Ellinwood, of East Main Rd., LeRoy, for misdemeanor aggravated driving while intoxicated and other traffic offenses after a traffic stop in the Village on February 26, 2018.  During the course of the arrest, it is alleged that Ellinwood had a BAC of .18% or more.  Ellinwood was released on traffic tickets and is to appear in the LeRoy Town Court at a later date.

The LeRoy Police Department arrested 53 year old Danielle Derenzo, of Hartshorn Rd., Corfu, for aggravated unlicensed operation (suspended license), suspended registration and operating without insurance after a traffic stop in the Village on February 27, 2018.  Derenzo was released on the traffic tickets and is to appear in the LeRoy Town Court at a later date.

The LeRoy Police Department arrested 34 year old Chad Giesler, of  Barks Rd., Caledonia, for misdemeanor driving while intoxicated and other traffic offenses after a traffic stop in the Village on March 1, 2018.  During the course of the arrest, it was alleged that Giesler was intoxicated and was released on traffic tickets and is to appear in the LeRoy Town Court at a later date.

The LeRoy Police Department arrested 18 year old Phoenix Webb, of  County Route 37, Central Square, NY, for misdemeanor criminal possession of marihuana in the 4th Degree after a traffic stop in the Village on March 3, 2018.  During the course of the traffic stop, the Officer allegedly smelled marihuana inside the vehicle and a search of the vehicle allegedly showed Webb to be in possession of more than two ounces of marihuana.  Webb was arraigned in the Town of LeRoy Court and committed to the Genesee County Jail on $500 bail.
