BATAVIA POLICE REPORT/Dellinger avenue man violates order of protection, punches woman in face causing serious physical injury

Joseph M. Tornabene, 26, of Dellinger avenue, Batavia, is charged with assault 3rd, aggravated criminal contempt, criminal mischief 4th, preventing from making emergency call to police and robbery 2nd, causing physical injury, after being involved in a physical violent domestic incident with a female where he punched the female victim in the face, causing physical injury.

The incident occurred on Dellinger avenue on March 23, 2018 at 6:50a.m.

Tornabene also forcibly took the victim’s cell phone, preventing her from calling 9-1-1. He also violated an order of protection that prohibited him from committing any family offenses against her.

Tornabene was arraigned in City Court by Judge Rogers and jailed in lieu of $25,000 cash bail.

 

 

Scott D. Larnder, 41, of Tracy Ave., Batavia, is charged with unlicensed dog and owning a vicious dog following an incident where his unlicensed dog bit another person in the residence. The incident occurred on March 12, 2018.

Larnder was issued an appearance ticket and released.

He will appear in City Court on April 3, 2018 at 1:00p.m.

 

 

Kevin Watson, 58, of E. Main St., Batavia, is charged with petit larceny after he allegedly stole several items from the Dollar General store at 412 East Main street on March 17, 2018.

Watson was issued an appearance ticket and will appear in City Court on March 27, 2018.
