“A few weeks back my husband and I met this awesome man,” says Kathy Reed of Barre.
Here is Kathy’s story.
We were on our way home from a friends house when he stopped us on Bank Street in Batavia as our van was making a terrible noise. I just wanted to get home, my oxygen tanks don’t hold a lot of oxygen and I have two disabled puppies at home.
When he stopped us he said our wheel was going to end up falling of. He asked us if we would pull in his driveway and he would check it for us. He took the wheel of and found the problem right away. We were missing a brake pad and the brake was hitting on bare metal and the drum was bad.
He did a temporary fix to get us home. Thank God he stopped us. He is a genuine person. I’m so glad I met him.
Mike Main you are truly a good man.
Main says something called him to go to the front of the yard that day before Easter as they drove by. “I heard the horrible noise at the rear tire and I was able to get them to stop and get them fixed safely,” says Main.
Main did the work from his wheelchair.
“They were worried about not having the money to pay me and I told them I’m not charging them, God gave me the ability to fix their vehicle and put them there in front of my house for a reason and I’m here to do it and to make sure that God’s children are safe.”
