40 year old Jessie P. Polito of Frederick Douglas Street in Rochester was arrested April 24, 2018 by the LeRoy Police Department after a lengthy investigation into a stolen purse and credit cards.
The investigation started in October of 2017 when the victim reported that an acquaintance allegedly stole her purse and credit cards in the early morning hours, then used the credit cards in numerous locations in Monroe County.
Polito was eventually identified through video as the user of the cards and a warrant was issued for his arrest.
Polito turned himself into the LeRoy Police Department and was processed and released on an appearance ticket to appear in LeRoy Town Court on May 8, 2018.
Polito is charged with three counts of grand larceny 4th, class E-felonies, for allegedly stealing three credit cards, and one count of petit larceny, an A-misdemeanor for stealing the purse.
