BATAVIA POLICE REPORT/State street woman accused of stealing rent money

Jessica L. Deridder, 30, of State St., Batavia, is charged with grand larceny 4th after she allegedly stole another tenants rent money instead of remitting it to the landlord on April 21, 2018.

Deridder was processed and arraigned and was held without bail.

She is scheduled to re-appear in City Court today at 1:00p.m.

 

 

Jordan S. Thomas, 19, of East Ave., Batavia, is charged with criminal possession of stolen property 5th following an investigation into the theft of a bicycle from outside Genesee County Probation at 15 Main street on May 9, 2018.

Thomas was found to be in possession of the bicycle and was arrested during a scheduled appointment at Genesee County Probation.

Thomas was released on an appearance ticket and will appear in City Court today at 1:00p.m.

 

Nasir C. Nathan, 22, of W. Main St., LeRoy, is charged with harassment 2nd after an altercation on Watson street in Batavia on May 26, 2018.

Nathan is accused of throwing a Styrofoam cup at another person.

Nathan was issued an appearance ticket and will appear in City Court later today.

 

 

Amber L. LaRock, 18, of Lewis Pl., Batavia, responded to the Batavia Police Headquarters and was arrested as a result of a domestic incident on Lewis Place on May 24, 2018.

LaRock was issued an appearance ticket and released.

She is scheduled to appear in City Court for arraignment on June 5, 2018.

 

 

Korbin R. Ground, 20, of Crittenden Rd., Akron, is charged with unlawful possession of marijuana and criminal use of drug paraphernalia after allegedly being found to be in possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.

Ground was issued an appearance ticket and release. He will appear in City Court on June 5, 2018.

 

 

Jonathan D. Wilson Jr., is charged with DWI and driving with a BAC of .08% or more after a minor motor vehicle accident in the McDonald’s parking lot on East Main street on May 20, 2018. Wilson was issued uniform traffic tickets and will appear in City Court on June 6, 2018 to answer the charges.

 

 

Travis L. Ettinger, 30, of West Ave., Albion, is charged with aggravated unlicensed operation 3rd, speeding in a zone and unlawful possession of marijuana after being pulled over for allegedly speeding on Pearl street on May 26, 2018.

After the traffic stop, Ettinger was found to be operating on a suspended license and allegedly possessed marijuana in the vehicle.

He was released on appearance tickets and will appear in City Court on June 6, 2018 at 9:00a.m.

 

 

Donna M. Fidanza, 48, of State St., Batavia, is charged with criminal possession of stolen property 5th and conspiracy 6th following an investigation into a report of a larceny of items from a residence on Main street in Batavia on March 26, 2018.

Fidanza was issued an appearance ticket and released. She will appear in City Court later today.

 

 

Heather D. Wendt, 32, of Holland Ave., Batavia, is charged with endangering the welfare of a child after an investigation of a child found unattended on Holland avenue on May 17, 2018.

Wendt was issued an appearance ticket and appeared in City Court on May 22, 2018.

 

Walter B. Hale Jr., 40, of East Ave., Batavia, is charged with DWI, aggravated DWI, aggravated unlicensed operation 1st, endangering the welfare of a child and failed to stop at a stop sign after a short vehicle pursuit on Summit street on May 15, 2018.

Hale was allegedly recklessly operating a motorcycle without a valid NYS driver’s license while allegedly intoxicated with a passenger less than 16 years old.

Hale was arraigned in City Court and jailed.

 

 

Alexis R. Chavez, 19, of Pearl St., Medina, is charged with driving a motor vehicle while impaired by drugs, aggravated unlicensed operation 3rd, unlawful possession of marijuana, operating a motor vehicle while using a mobile phone and standing/parking on a highway blocking traffic after a traffic stop at 204 West Main street at Oak street on May 19, 2018.

Chavez is accused of blocking traffic by not moving his vehicle for four traffic light cycles at West Main and Oak street.

Chavez was also found to be operating a cell phone while driving and did not possess a driver’s license and in addition his driving privilege was suspended for failure to answer a summons.

A quantity of marijuana was also located in the vehicle and after further investigation he was charged with DWAI/drugs.

He was released on an appearance ticket ordering him to appear in City Court on June 13, 2018 at 9:00a.m.
