Richard D. Mckague Jr., 28, of Main St. Rd., Batavia, is charged with criminal contempt 1st/previous conviction within 5 years, aggravated family offense, attempted assault 2nd and acting in a manor injurious to a child less than 17 after a domestic incident at Batavia Mobile Home Park on June 23, 2018.
Mckague allegedly violated an order of protection and allegedly threw a beer bottle at the victim causing injury.
After the incident, Mckague fled the scene and deputies searched the area. K-9 Destro and Deputy Chris Erion helped locate Mckague in a wooded area nearby.
Mckague was arraigned in the Town of Batavia Court by Judge Cleveland and remanded to the Genesee County Jail in lieu of $25,000 cash bail.
He is due back in court on June 28, 2018 at 1:00p.m.
