Three Buffalo teens are facing felony charges after they allegedly stole a vehicle and then allegedly attempted to steal two ATV’s from Broadway road in Darien on Tuesday afternoon about 1:30p.m.

David C. Edwards, 19, Jason N. Mann and Travis E. Kent, both 17, all of Buffalo, allegedly stole a vehicle from Lackawanna and then abandoned the vehicle in a farm field off Harper road. The teens did significant damage to the vehicle before leaving the scene .
Police were then called to 1888 Broadway road after two of the teens, Edwards and Kent, attempted to steal two ATV’s, but were thwarted by a resident.
The teens then fled on foot heading in a westerly direction on Broadway road before fleeing into a field.
After a search of the area by law enforcement, all three subjects were located in a corn field about a half mile north of Broadway road near Sharrick road.
All three are charged with criminal possession of stolen property 3rd, Kent is additionally charged with attempted grand larceny 3rd and criminal mischief. Edwards is additionally charged with grand larceny 3rd.
All three were arraigned in the Town of Darien Court by Justice Edwards and were remanded to the Genesee County Jail in lieu of $10,000 cash bail and $20,000 bond. All three will re-appear in Darien Town Court at a later date.
The investigation is ongoing with further charges pending.

Brad Mazur, Chief Deputy Joseph Graff, the NYS Police, Corfu Police and NYS Environmental Conservation.
