On August 8, 2018, at about 7:00p.m., The Genesee County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a vehicle attempting to run over patrons at the Northgate Free Methodist Church at 8160 Bank Street road in Batavia.
Upon further investigation, Paul D. Hussey, 63, of Highway 13, S. Hurricane Mills, TN, was arrested on four counts of attempted assault 1st with a dangerous instrument, four counts of reckless endangerment 1st, criminal possession of a controlled substance 3rd, DWI, driving while ability impaired by drugs and driving while ability impaired by drugs combination.
Hussey was also found to allegedly be in possession of a quantity of methamphetamine
He was arraigned in the Town of Batavia Court and jailed on $25,000 cash an $50,000 bond.
Hussey will appear in court again later today.
