BATAVIA POLICE REPORT/Ellicott street man charged with forcible touching

David J. Barton, 54, of Ellicott St., Batavia, is charged with forcible touching after a complaint on August 26, 2018 where Barton allegedly forcibly touched a female inappropriately without her consent.

The incident occurred on Ellicott street about 5:15p.m.

Barton was issued an appearance ticket and appeared in City Court on September 4, 2018.

 

 

Bailey M. Burns, 19, of Prospect St., Attica, was arrested on a bench warrant for failing to appear at the Genesee County Jail for his sentence of weekend incarceration on August 17, 2018.

Burns was arraigned in City Court by Judge Robert Balbick and was jailed in lieu of $2,000 cash bail and $4,000 bond bail.

He re-appeared in court on August 24, 2018 at 9:30a.m.

 

 

Jeffery C. Rogers, 33, of Old Washington Pike, Knoxville, TN, is charged with DWI, aggravated DWI, aggravated unlicensed operation 3rd, unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, speeding in a zone and unlawful possession of marijuana following an investigation into a possible hit and run motor vehicle accident at 306 W. Main street on August 25, 2018.

Rogers was arraigned in City Court and held on $2,500 bail or bond. He re-appeared on August 27, 2018 at 1:00p.m..

 

 

Aaron L. Klein, 47 of Montclair Ave., Batavia, is charged with aggravated unlicensed operation 2nd/alcohol conviction, aggravated unlicensed operation 2nd, operating without an interlock device and open container after a traffic stop on Montclair avenue, where Klein was found to driving on a suspended license with an open container of alcohol in the vehicle on August 26, 2018 at 10:08p.m.

Klein was issued traffic tickets and will appear in City Court on September 12, 2018.

 

 

 

Derek E. Wilcox, 30, of Congress Ave., Rochester, is charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance 7th after an investigation into the report of a suspicious vehicle on Ellicott street on August 23, 2018 at 10:55p.m.

After an investigation, Wilcox was allegedly found to be in possession of crack cocaine.

He was released on an appearance ticket and appeared in City Court on August 28, 2018.

 

 

Stefanie M. Lawlis, 35, of Central Ave., Batavia, was arrested and charged with dog running at large, unlicensed dog and unvaccinated dog following the complaint of an animal bite on Central avenue on August 22, 2018.

Lawless was issued an appearance ticket  and released. Lawlis appeared in City Court on September 4, 2018.

 

 

Dakota R. White, 20, of Central Ave., and Meghan B. Blodgett, 22, of Soccio St., both of Batavia, were arrested  for allegedly committing Batavia Municipal Code violations, being in a park after hours,(10:00p.m.-7:00a.m.) after a reported physical altercation at Williams Park on August 27, 2018 at 3:20a.m.

Both were released with appearance tickets and appeared in City Court on August 28, 2018 at 1:00p.m.

 

 

A 16 year old male was arrested and charged with petit larceny after allegedly stealing an iPhone from another person on Lewis Place on August 18, 2018.

The teen was processed and released on an appearance ticket.

He appeared in City Court on August 28, 2018 at 1:00p.m.

 

 

Noah C. Stiles, 18, of Westcott Rd., Medina, is charged with petit larceny after it was determined that he stole several items from a house on S. Main street on August 27, 2018.

Stiles was issued an appearance ticket and is scheduled to appear in court on September 11, 2018 at 1:00p.m.

 

Bleyke Z. Culver, 22, of  Walnut St., Batavia, was arrested on a bench warrant after failing to appear in court on a previous charge of criminal contempt 2nd on August 16, 2018.

Culver was arraigned in City Court and jailed in lieu of $1500 cash bail or bond.

Culver will re-appear in City Court on September13, 2018 at 1:20p.m.
