Planet Fitness held its Grand Opening on Wednesday evening and officially cut the ribbon on their new 13,000 square foot facility at 4140 Veterans Memorial Drive.
Planet Fitness has been open since mid October and is a full gym with state of the art cardio and strength equipment, stretching and ab workout area , a 30 minute circuit express workout room, full service locker rooms and the Black Card Spa, which features hydro massage chairs, deep tissue massage chairs, tanning(two lay down and 2 stand up) and red light therapy through a total body enhancement machine, which warms your body and muscles up.
For the next 30 days, you can start with a Black Card membership for 21.99 per month and 0 down. Or if you would prefer to just use the gym, it is $10.00 per month.
Both memberships include a fitness trainer.
There is an annual membership fee of $39 that is due by January 1st of each year. The term of the membership is a minimum of 12 months. There is a buyout fee of $58.00 during the 12 month term.
The Black Card membership includes use of total body enhancement, use of the hydro massage chairs, tanning, use of massage chairs, unlimited fitness training, use of Planet Fitness locations nationwide, unlimited guest privileges to any Planet Fitness location, and half priced cooler drinks.
“We are really here for the first time gym user, maybe someone who doesn’t know how to work out or has never worked out,” says John Hrinda, Division President of ECP-PF Holdings Group.
“You will feel safe, not judged at Planet Fitness, it really is a place where people can enjoy working out.”
Hrinda says Planet Fitness is offering high value and a low-cost membership for people who want to come in.

ECP-PF Holdings Group Inc., the largest Planet Fitness franchise in the U.S. with over 70 locations, invested 1.5 million dollars in developing their new location in Batavia. The new club employs 15 people.
