WYOMING COUNTY SHERIFF’S REPORT/Corfu man charged during traffic stop

Dave W. Case, 60, of Corfu, was arrested following a traffic stop on State Route 354 at Burrough Road in the Town of Bennington on November 20, 2018. Case was stopped for having a headlight out, and during the stop Case was found to possess open containers of alcohol, a bag of marijuana, and marijuana paraphernalia inside his vehicle.

Case was arrested and charged with unlawful possession of marijuana, consumption of alcohol in motor vehicle, inadequate headlamps, and unsafe tires. Case will answer the charges in the Town of Bennington Court on December 17, 2018. He was released to a family member.

 

On November 15, 2018,  the Wyoming County Sheriff’s received a complaint about a possible violation of an order of protection. It was reported by a female victim that Matthew Preen, 30, of Perry, NY, had violated a stay away order of protection at the Tops Market in the Town of Warsaw.

After an investigation, Preen was arrested for criminal contempt 2nd degree. Preen was issued an appearance ticket with a court date of  November 26, 2018 in Warsaw Town Court.

 

The Wyoming County Sheriff’s Office, assisted by Warsaw Police Department, located and arrested Tera L. O’Brien, 43, of Warsaw, at her residence.

O’Brien was wanted by the Wyoming County Court for a violation of felony probation. O’Brien was held in the Wyoming County Jail without bail to await the next available session of Wyoming County Court.
