NYS POLICE REPORT/Basom woman charged after accident in Clarence

On November 24, 2018, Troopers responded to a report of a motor vehicle accident on Greiner Rd at the Intersection of Goodrich Road.in Clarence, NY.

An investigation revealed that Daphne Sundown, 31, of Basom, rear ended another vehicle that was stopped at the light. Sundown subsequently failed field sobriety tests. During a search a small amount of cocaine was found on Sundown and in the vehicle. Sundown was arrested and provided a breath sample of .18%. She is charged with aggravated DWI and criminal possession of a controlled substance 7th. Sundown was released with a return court date in Clarence.

 

On November 22, 2018, Troopers conducted a traffic stop after observing a Ford F150 speeding on State Route 18 in the town of Yates. Troopers interviewed the operator, Kevin J. Frasier, no age or address provided, who was exhibiting obvious signs of intoxication. Frasier failed standardized field sobriety tests at the scene. He was arrested and transported to SP Albion, where a chemical breath test revealed that he had a 0.23% BAC.
Frasier was released with appearance tickets for Yates Town Court, where he is to return in December 2018.
