On December 1, 2018 at 7:46p.m., Troopers out of SP Batavia stopped Olivia N. Smith, 21, of Batavia, and Joey R. Tatro III, 24, of Attica.
Troopers stopped Smith on Seven Springs Road in the town of Batavia for inadequate head lights.
While interviewing Smith, the odor of marijuana was present. Troopers conducted a probable cause search of the vehicle and its occupants at which time they located cocaine and marijuana. Troopers charged Smith for allegedly being in possession of marijuana and her passenger, Tatro, for allegedly being in possession of both marijuana and cocaine.
Smith is charged with unlawful possession of marijuana.
Tatro is charged with unlawful possession of marijuana and criminal possession of a controlled substance 7th
Tatro was arraigned in Batavia Town Court and remanded on $500 bail. Smith was released with an appearance ticket. .
