PERRY POLICE REPORT/Man shows up to court allegedly on drugs

Officer Blake Russell of the Perry Police Department responded to the Perry Village Court around 1:15p.m. on Tuesday December 4, 2018, after the Perry Court Officer observed Nathan Arieno, 21, of Rochester, under the influence of some substance while trying to enter the court room.

Arieno drove to court to appear on pending drug charges from an arrest in May.

Arieno was arrested and sent for a drug recognition expert evaluation.

Arieno was subsequently arrested for driving while his ability was impaired due to drugs. He was arraigned in Perry Village court by Honorable Judge Miller and remanded to Wyoming County Jail on $5,000 cash/bail and will return to court date on January 8, 2019 at 1:00p.m. to answer the new charge.
