On November 30, 2018, a Wyoming County Sheriff’s deputy was patrolling Route 20A in the Town of Orangeville and observed a vehicle traveling east on Route 20A turning their lights off and on randomly about 7:00p.m..
The Deputy was able to catch up to the vehicle, which at the time was traveling roughly 35 MPH. The driver of the car then sped up to 95 MPH in a 55 MPH zone. The Deputy observed the vehicle crossing over the centerline of the roadway numerous times. The vehicle was stopped in the Village of Warsaw.
After speaking to the driver, Brian Gleeson-Rosson, 22, of Rutherford, New Jersey, the Deputy had suspicions that the driver may be under the influence of a drug.
Gleeson-Rosson was requested to perform sobriety tests. After failing the tests, Gleeson-Rosson was placed under arrest and taken to a drug recognition expert. After a detailed examination and further testing, it was found that Gleeson-Rosson was under the influence of two separate drugs.
Gleeson-Rosson is charged with speeding and shutting off headlights and taillights while driving after dark in the Town of Orangeville. Gleeson-Rosson was issued separate tickets for speeding and failure to keep right in the Town of Warsaw.
In the Village of Warsaw, Gleeson-Rosson is charged with speeding, DWAI and DWAI combined (more than one drug category).
