GENESEE COUNTY SHERIFF’S REPORT/Evans street man charged in Kohls burglary

Benjamin G. Evans IV, 30, of Evans St., Batavia is charged with petit larceny and burglary 3rd after allegedly committing a larceny/burglary at Kohl’s on December 4, 2018 at 8:45p.m.

Evans was arraigned in Batavia Town Court and was jailed in lieu of $10,000 bail.

Evans will return to court on December 17, 2018 at 12:30p.m.

Maleak H. Green, 25, of W. Main St. Rd., Batavia, is charge with aggravated criminal contempt, a class D felony, and aggravated family offense, an E felony, after allegedly being found in the presence of a female that is the protected party in a Genesee County Court Order of Protection that Green was served. Green was arrested on December 6, 2018.

Green has been convicted of criminal contempt 1st in the preceding 5 years. He will be arraigned on December 13, 2018 at 1:00p.m. in Batavia Town Court.
