The Le Roy Police Department would like to take a moment to thank the members of the community in assisting in identifying and locating four suspects that were involved in several larcenies where approximately $20,000 worth of items were stolen over the course of several hours.
On January 02, 2019 the Le Roy Police Department began receiving complaints that vehicles and other outdoor storage units in the area of Robbins Road in the Village of Le Roy had been entered and various items had been removed and were missing. Since the original larceny was reported on January 02nd, theLe Roy Police Department has received a total of six complaints and the estimated value of the property taken exceeds $20,000, there also property with little to no dollar value but sentimental value to the owner that was taken. During the investigation members of the Le Roy Police Department were able to locate surveillance footage of one of the suspects, although members of the department were unable to identify the suspect in the video the photograph was sent out to local media as well as placed on the department’s facebook page asking for the public to assist with the identification.
In the late afternoon of January 03, 2019, the Le Roy Police Department received a complaint of a suspicious condition in the area of Robbins Road, the complaint witnessed two subjects dispose of various items near their property and then leave in a vehicle. The caller was able to identify the subjects as well as the vehicle they were operating. When patrols arrived at the complainant’s location, they were able to identify many of the items that were disposed of to be items related to the previous reported larcenies. Shortly after the report of the suspicious condition was reported, patrols received a complaint that subjects were out at the Le Roy Police Department looking to turn in the suspect in the videos. During the investigation it was confirmed that, the subject was the same suspect from the surveillance videos. As the investigation continued it was also determined that the two individuals that turned that suspect in along with another individual that was not present at that time were also involved in the larceny of the items.
It is alleged that in the early morning hours of January 02, 2019, 20 year old, Tyler M. Powers of Robbins Road, Le Roy, previously from Youngstown, NY, did leave the property where he was residing and enter several vehicles as well as other outdoor storage units in the area. Powers did take various items from the properties and bring the items back to his residence.
Also present at the residence at that time was 28 year old, Shane C. Anthony, of Robbins Road, Le Roy, previously from Rochester, NY, 38 year old, Robert J. Pragle, of Robbins Road, Le Roy, and 37 year old, Michelle A. Condidorio, of Robbins Road, Le Roy. During the investigation it was discovered that the intentions of all the involved parties were to benefit from the sale of the stolen items by purchasing narcotics with the proceeds. As a result of the investigation a Search Warrant was executed on the residence occupied by all the suspects and several other items were located in the residence that had previously been reported stolen. Also located in the residence was a quantity of crack cocaine, drug paraphernalia, and a quantity of marihuana. During the search of Shane Anthony, drug paraphernalia as well as a quantity of marihuana was located on his person. Powers, Pragle, Anthony, and Condidorio, were subsequently arrested and charged as follows;
Tyler M. Powers was charged with one count of Grand Larceny in the Third Degree, a Class D Felony and one count of Criminal Possession of Stolen Property in the Third Degree, a Class D Felony. Powers was turned over to the Genesee County Jail in lieu of $25,000 bail.
Robert J. Pragle was charged with one count of Criminal Possession of Stolen Property, a Class D Felony, one count of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the Seventh Degree, a Class A Misdemeanor, and one count of Criminally Using Drug Paraphernalia in the Second Degree, a Class A Misdemeanor. Pragle was turned over the Genesee County Jail in lieu of $10,000 bail.
Shane C. Anthony was charged with one count of Criminal Possession of Stolen Property, a Class D Felony and one count of Criminally Using Drug Paraphernalia in the Second Degree, a Class A Misdemeanor. Powers was turned over the Genesee County Jail in lieu of $15,000 bail.
Michelle A. Condidorio was charged with one count of Criminal Possession of Stolen Property, a Class D Felony, one count of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the Seventh Degree, a Class A Misdemeanor, and one count of Criminally Using Drug Paraphernalia in the Second Degree, a Class A Misdemeanor. Condidorio was turned over the Genesee County Jail in lieu of $10,000 bail.
All subjects are to return to the Le Roy Town Court on January 22, 2019 to answer to their charges.
