GENESEE COUNTY/Indictments

A Genesee County Grand Jury has indicted John D. Meiler and accuses him of the crime of DWAI/drugs as a class D felony. On August 21, 2018, Meiler, was operating a 2011 Chevy on Bloomingdale road in the Town of Alabama while his ability to operate the vehicle was allegedly impaired by drugs.

In count 2, Meiler is accused of aggravated unlicensed operation 2nd, a class E felony, after operating his vehicle on the above date and location, knowing his license or his privilege to operate the vehicle was suspended or revoked while he was allegedly under the influence of alcohol or a drug.

In count 3, Meiler is accused of the crime of circumventing an interlock device on the above date and location while subject to a court ordered ignition interlock device. Meiler’s vehicle was not equipped with an ignition interlock device on the above date and location.

Meiler was previously convicted of misdemeanor DWI in Alden in December 2006.

William R. Reynolds has been indicted and is accused of aggravated unlicensed operation 1st, a class E felony, after operating his 2008 Chevy on the NYS Thruway in the Town of Pembroke on July 28, 2018, knowing his license was suspended or revoked, while allegedly under the influence of alcohol or a drug.

In count 2, Reynolds is accused of DWI, a class E felony, after operating his vehicle on the above date and location, while allegedly in an intoxicated condition.

In count 3, Reynolds is accused of aggravated DWI, a class E felony, after operating his vehicle on the above date and location allegedly in an intoxicated condition and while a child 15 years or less was a passenger in his vehicle.

Reynolds was previously convicted of aggravated DWI, a class E felony, on January 15, 2010 in Tioga County in New York state.

Kayel J. McClary has been indicted and is accused of the crime of aggravated unlicensed operation 1st, a class E felony, after operating his 2016 Ford on the NYS Thruway in the Town of Pembroke on September 1, 2018, knowing that his license to operate his vehicle was suspended or revoked, having ten or more suspensions on at least ten separate dates for failure to answer, appear or a pay a fine.

Rahiim J. Collazo has been indicted and is accused of the crime of aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle 1st, a class E felony, after operating his 2008 Chevy on Batavia Elba Townline road in the Town of Batavia on June 29, 2018, knowing that his license to operate his vehicle was suspended or revoked, having ten or more suspensions on at least 10 separate dates for failure to answer, appear or pay a fine.

In count 2, Collazo is accused of speeding on the above date and location after driving his vehicle at a speed in excess of 55mph.

Antonio D. Dames has been indicted and is accused of DWI, a class E felony, after driving his 2000 Chevy on Lewiston road in the Town of Alabama on August 9, 2018, while he was in an intoxicated condition.

In count 2, Dame is accused of DWI Per Se, a class E felony on the above date and location after allegedly operating his vehicle with a BAC of .08% or more as shown by a chemical analysis of his breath.

In count 3, Dames is accused of the crime of aggravated unlicensed operation 1st, a class E felony, on the above date and location, knowing that his license was suspended or revoked while allegedly operating his vehicle under the influence of alcohol or a drug.

In count 4, the indictment accuses Dames of circumventing an interlock device on the above date and location while subject to a court ordered ignition interlock device. Dames’ vehicle was not equipped with an ignition interlock device on Lewiston road.

Dames was previously convicted of misdemeanor DWI on April 3, 2014 in the Town of Lockport.
