WYOMING COUNTY SHERIFF’S REPORT/Warsaw man accused of harassing worker and shopper at Wal-Mart

Daniel J. Hackett, 45, of Warsaw, was arrested following a harassment complaint at Wal-Mart in the Town of Warsaw on February 23, 2019.

Deputies responded to the store after a complaint by Asset Protection that a male had been harassing a female worker and shopper in an inappropriate manner. These actions were causing concern to those involved.

Hackett is charged with harassment 1st for his actions with the worker and shopper along with trespass after refusing to leave the store when directed.

Hackett was arraigned in the Town of Warsaw Court and committed to the Wyoming County Jail in lieu of $5,000 cash bail or $10,000 bond. Hackett will return to Court on March 11, 2019.

Benjamin E. Dawson, 26, of Buffalo, was arrested following a traffic stop on Toolhouse Road in the Town of Warsaw on February 18, 2019.

Dawson was stopped after police observed him dangerously operating his vehicle into oncoming traffic while on Route 20A in the Village of Warsaw and Town of Warsaw.

The certificate of inspection on Dawson’s vehicle had also expired in May of 2016. Dawson was found to be in possession of concentrated cannabis and marijuana, and following a poor performance on field sobriety testing Dawson was taken into custody.

Dawson was transported to the Wyoming County Sheriff’s Office for a drug influence evaluation by a Wyoming County Sheriff’s Office Drug Recognition Expert.

It was determined that Dawson was allegedly impaired by cannabis and unable to operate a vehicle safely. He is charged with DWAI/drugs, criminal possession of a controlled substance 7th, failure to keep right, driving to the left on curve, and uninspected motor vehicle.

Dawson was arraigned in the Town of Warsaw Court where bail was set in the amount of $1,000.00 cash bail or $2,000.00 bond. He was then held in the Wyoming County Jail and is to appear in court on March 11, 2019 in the Town of Warsaw Court.

Andrew Z. Perdock, 32, of Leicester NY, was arrested on a warrant from the Town of Warsaw Court for failing to pay a fine. Perdock was arraigned in the Town of Warsaw Court on February 20, 2019, where he was committed to the Wyoming County Jail in lieu of $500.00 cash bail or $2,000.00 bond.

Perdock is to appear in court on March 11th, 2019 at 5:00PM for further proceedings.

Corey A Mioducki, 20, of Cowlesville, was arrested and charged with DWAI/drugs, criminal possession of a controlled substance 7th, unlawful possession of marijuana and multiple traffic violations following a traffic stop on Route 354 in the Town of Bennington on February 20, 2019.

Mioducki received a drug influence evaluation by a NYS certified drug recognition expert and was determined to be impaired by a drug.

Mioducki was released on appearance tickets and is scheduled to return to the Town of Bennington Court on March 18, 2019.
