BATAVIA POLICE REPORT/Woman jailed without bail after leaving the scene of an accident and allegedly drinking in her vehicle

Josselyn A. Scott, 57, of Black Creek Rd., Boston, NY, is charged with felony DWI, previous conviction within 10 years, and drinking alcohol in a motor vehicle on the highway after she was observed leaving the scene of a property damage accident on the thruway and then observed sitting in the parking lot of 200 Oak street with her vehicle running.

The incident occurred on March 10, 2019 at 5:30p.m.

Scott was arraigned in City Court and remanded to the Genesee County Jail without bail.

Scott re-appeared in City Court on March 11, 2019 at 1:30p.m.

Two people were charged with endangering the welfare of a child after a CPS home visit on Chestnut street on March 8, 2019.

Timothy D. Eastridge, 41, of Chestnut St., Batavia, allegedly had smoked marijuana in close proximity to his children, while in the residence, Eastridge was found to be in possession of a .22 caliber rifle.

Eastridge is also charged with unlawful possession of marijuana and criminal possession of a weapon 4th/previous felony conviction.

He was issues an appearance ticket and released.

Also facing an endangering the welfare of a child charge is Stephanie M. Hartgrove, 30, of Chestnut St., Batavia, for allowing her live-in boyfriend to smoke marijuana in close proximity to their children.

Hartgrove was issued an appearance ticket and released.
