GENESEE COUNTY/Man accused of bringing a controlled substance into the jail in a birthday card

Keith White, 47, of North Tonawanda, is charged with introducing dangerous contraband, a felony, into the Genesee County Jail by having a birthday card with a controlled substance contained in the card.

The incident occurred between November 2018-February 2019.

White was arrested on March 21, 2019 and was arraigned in City Court by Judge Balbick. He was remanded to the Genesee County Jail without bail.

White is also charged with falsifying business records 1st(16 counts) a felony, criminal solicitation 4th, conspiracy 5th, and falsifying business records 2nd(60 counts)

Other charges are pending in the case.

White will re-appear in court on April 4, 2019 at 11:00a.m.

The incident is being investigated by Deputy Ryan Young and other members of the Genesee County Sheriff’s Office.
