GENESEE COUNTY SHERIFF’S REPORT/Batavia woman facing charges after allegedly stealing multiple credit cards

Following an investigation into the theft of multiple credit cards in the Town of Batavia, Amanda M. Bowles, 33, of State St., Batavia, was arrested on March 20, 2019 for allegedly possessing and using stolen credit cards at multiple locations around the City of Batavia.

Bowles allegedly completed some of the transactions by forging the signature of the credit card owner.

Bowles is charged with four counts of forgery 2nd, four counts of identity theft 1st, five counts of criminal possession of stolen property 4th and one count of identity theft 3rd.

She was arraigned in City Court and jailed without bail.

Richard D. Neal, 29, of Roosevelt Highway, Kent, NY, is charged with criminal mischief 4th after allegedly damaging property consisting of another person’s vehicle while in the parking lot of Wal-Mart on March 16, 2019.

Neal was released on an appearance ticket.

Salvatore Yacuzzo, 73, of Oak St., Batavia, was arrested and charged with criminal contempt 2nd after allegedly violating a stay away order of protection on March 21, 2019.

Yacuzzo was issued an appearance ticket and is scheduled to appear in LeRoy Town Court on April 11, 2019 at 1:00p.m.
